We're at $22.75 at the end of the contract, but just over the King County line, they're at $25.02, which we make if we go down there. Doesn't make sense, the cost of living is pretty much the same.

We're at $20 per hour. OT after 8. If we work through lunch we get another 1/2 hour OT. Anything before 7:30am is OT. Saturday is time and a half. New drivers used to start at $1.25 per hour less than the top pay.

Hello boys just thought id pop in and see what your all up to state side. I drive a mixer over here in the UK just outside London our rates of pay are hard to work out per hour we get paid all sorts of bonuses , to do with distance, number of loads ect but the basic hourly rate is POOR. We work about 55 to 60 hrs a week there is no longer a union. On average, it would be £27/28,000 per year top line. How does that compare?

Tom, I've been doing about 55-60 hours a week during the season and I'll probably make about $58,000 this year. Maybe $60,000 if I really try. So, you're not too far behind. We don't get any bonuses except for the guaranteed 3% they put in our 401k every year.

Yeah, we start out at 85 percent of scale, and get another 5 percent every 1000 hours. That's why it took so long. I think if you have mixer experience, you can start out at full scale, but that didn't apply to me.

Our company depends on experience, I started out at $18 now I am up to $19 in 8 months, We have a wagon load of benifits, excellent health and some really good perks. We get laid off in the winter on a needed basis, with job attached, they still pay our medical and 401k. If you get called in to work you get comp time. I am going to spend my winter in Belize collecting unemployment. We are on a seniority basis the drivers with the most time in get the most hours.

We just got a 60c rasie from $20.50AU to $21.10AU which is about $14USD I like your $20.60USD which is $31AU. we wouldnt get that type of pay in the concrete industry here. id have to be driving the biggest semi trailer on the road to get that. At 20.50AU on a standed 38hr week is worth $779 by the time the tax man takes his cut im left with $656 which wouldnt go far in living expenses for the week. ideally we would want $800 in the pocket. our yearly salary is $40,508 / $26,839USD before the taxman robs us.
