Thats funny , I'm new to being a operator. My Dakota leather boots wear within a year when I was driving flatbed. Been looking at other operators feet when I meet up with different operators as well as the guys working in the cement mix. Our senior operator uses chainsaw boots. Rubber bottoms and leather to the top. That's what I chose to wear. Feet are dry. The steel shank let's you stand on an edge without any flex. Only downside is traction on ice. Thinking of trying my NEOS winter overboots with the removable screws for ice.
