Hi Everyone,
I'm working on an idea for fleet management software for the concrete/heavy equipment industry. I have a lot of experience working with the manufacturers of concrete transit mixers, but I don't work with the people who actually use it, so I have a few questions. Any help is greatly appreciated! I'd love to talk with some people who drive transit-mixers, and even people who manage ready-mix plants.
1. What are all of the concrete forums where I might find people who deliver concrete and/or manage ready-mix plants?
2. What are some of the existing fleet management tools available for this market? (I'm aware of Trimble, I'm sure there are more....)
3. Do all ready-mix companies use fleet management tools?
4. What are some of the valuable features in fleet management tools? (maintenance reminders? batch tracking?)
5. What is missing from some of the fleet management tools out there? (What don't you like?)
6. Any other comments on fleet management tools?
