Well I have gotten hired back into the concrete biz.
Leaving my salaried factory job of almost 3 years to go back to driving.
Drove a rear discharge for 4 years until laid off.
Starting over in a front discharge. I am glad I have some experience to go on. Front discharge is going to be a little weird at first.
Have to relearn the road names again too to get around.
No more pay per load. Pay per hour this time.
Looking forward to the change.

Welcome back and good luck! Remember to slow down and don't let anyone force you to hurry, stay in your own comfort level as you are getting to know that truck.
I know you heard this before but its worth repeating. Before pulling off the road:
use the lowest gear neccessary
stop your drum
lock axles

Why would you ever stop your drum?

Glad you're back in LS. This board needs some action. I've been out for a bit over a year. LONG story...
