Hey Pete.....welcome to the site. Is "piss 'em up" a NZ expression? If so, can you translate it into American English? How's business down there? Busy these days?

hi,billy piss em up pete was my nickname in england, because i used to bring the wet loads and the placers started calling me that, plus on my last truck i ordered a 500 litre header tank so i had plenty of water if needed to add to the load.Work here in nz is quiet one day then flat out the next, but it has slowed down here compared to last year.

I should have been able to figure that out on my own. When we're returning to the yard with a wet load we'll say that we're coming in with a "load of piss". Funny how things are pretty much the same the world over.

Yeah, we're all pretty much the same degree of crazy.
Welcome aboard, Pete.
