i heard cemex were buying la farge but again a rumour.hiedelberg will probably be after it.

They sold to ARGOS, a large South American operation. They got a string from the Carolinas to Texas.
There had always been a rumor that LaFart would sell the delivery end and keep the quarries and cement plants. Thats what they did, got out og the RM side of things.

We sold all the trucks to Leasing companies and lease them back...same with all the quarry equipment. Rumor has it the plants are for sale and will lease them back and just run their material thru them.
