I don't mean the kind that are used behind someone's back and can't be printed here. How many drivers do you work with that are called by a nickname rather than their real name and what are they? We have:
Turtle T-Bone (plays a guitar) Scarecrow Johnny Lugnuts Chopper Woodstock Gimpy Monkey Jonny The Polack
Some from the past: Dixie Red Soupy Dutch The Pouch Egg Head Freddie The Indian Cannonball Flounder (Lead Dog reminded me of this one) Stymie (....and this one, too) Cowboy
I'm sure there are more that slip my mind at the moment.

Amish Ninja? I ain't even gonna ask. That was a good list, Dog. Which one was you? IT WOULD BE "CHIEF". The dispatcher met my wife at one of our many beer bashes. 15 years ago my wife liked dressing to the nines. And she's half Cherokee Indian. She left a lasting impression on him . After that I was Chief and she was Pocahontas. I never said the guy was ever wound too tight, but he was a helluva good dispatcher .

The guy who used to own the company I work for had a nickname for me but I can't use it here. The initials were "BDF" and I don't think I have to tell you what the "F" stood for.

QUOTE; Lumpy Rutherford (looks like the fat kid from Leave it to Beaver) LEAVE IT TO BEAVER!!!!....YER SHOWIN' SOME WRINKLES at 27 yrs. old MORT .......snicker, snicker ;D Oh, I had to ask what it meant, let me tell you. Billy, no, but it helps. Also if your name is Mike, Mark, or Chris. Oddly enough, we also used to have three guys named "Monty," all spelled the same. At my old job, a car dealer, we had six Daves (3 of which made up 75 percent of the parts counter) and 5 Erics. Weirdest thing, though, I worked at a Toyota dealer in North Carolina that had two guys named "Ramzi," again spelled the same. No relation, either.

My Dad, also named Bill, was an oil burner mechanic and worked for a company in Hackensack, NJ back in the 50's. His Uncle Bill owned the company and every guy who worked there was named "Bill" (as I recall there were only about 6 employees). They had to give them all nicknames. The only one I remember was a guy named "Squeaky".

Well, while there are a few guys there that probably deserve the nickname, it does belong to a female. They have also called her "Fluffy". She is probably the best mixer driver I know. Lord help you if she whips out the hairbrush on you. Men have died.

I used to work with a guy who liked hours but not work so we called him "Clock-sucker".
An old hippy driver who thought my german gun collection and Native American blood made for a strange combination nicknamed me "Choctaw nazi".
One day he told us how he had lost a testicle to cancer so I nicknamed him "the uniballer".

He should wear the same shirt John Kruk of the Phillies wore after his surgery.
"Don't make fun of me, or I'll take my ball and go home."

Got a guy working here now that looks like Capt. Lou Albano. So, of course, he is called Capt. Lou. I was reminded of a guy who used to work with us and is now retired. His hair was completely gray when he was in his 30's. We called him Gray Ray.

They call me Pile, Lyle Pile. My brothers name was Kyle (God rest his soul). We were the Pile Brothers. (Thanks for the name, Rick B. from Battle Creek.) I now drive to fight against hot loads and wheelbarrow jobs wherever I'm needed.
