Was wondering what other companies had for policies as far as water added on jobs and times.I have my drivers fill in 0 in the water added line even if they didnt add any. This is to cover our butts for the finishers that like to pour 10+ inch slump. So no matter what, the water line should have something written in it.I still find myself chasing down drivers with tickets left blank. Not so bad on the times but the water. What do you guys do to ensure all the blanks on your tickets are filled out?

I dunno, I've never forgotten to fill it in. Sometimes I "forget" to fill out any extra water on inspected jobs, but that doesn't hurt anything and it keeps the big customers happy.

When we're on a big boom pump job, we don't bother writing how much water we might add at the site. On smaller jobs, I always do, to cover my arse. Supposedly the Trimble can monitor the amount of water I add to the drum, but it's not at all accurate.

I use to do gps. they know it all. the water meter where your add water valve records the amount of water added to your load. If its a big job and I add water I always put the max that I'm allowed regardless of how much I add. With other jobs what ever I add I jot down. Too many shady people out there.

I'd guess that when I look at my Trimble after adding water it's not accurate. I'll add 15 gallons, and the Trimble will report something like 104 gallons. Wha?
