Hey guys, a brand new, Green Mixer driver is in your midst! My name is Brian Hicks, and I am a Trainee for Chandler Concrete located in Burlington, NC (home office) I work out of Durham. We run a combo of McNeilus rear discharges, Older Macks, newer macks, older IH Paystars and newer Paystars and a few CBMWs on new body style IH 7700s The rig I was driving was a 1995 Paystar 5000 with L10 cummins, but the engine was a dog, (air compressor hose into engine had hole in it)and it had lots and lots of other issues (spare truck) So my trainer (reluctantly) plopped me into a 1996 Paystar 5000 with a brand new paint job (it hadn't even been driven with a load yet!) and we drove that for about three weeks, and not one speck of crete' was on the chutes, or the fold over when the 1995 paystar was fixed (cosmetically it's junk, but mechanically, it is now, great) I have taken a couple of pictures, but I feel that I should not throw anything on the internet that could compromise the company, so any pictures that I show will have truck #s blanked out, etc. I have others, but they require editing. As for personal vehicles, I drive a 1999 f-250 ford SD with the 7.3L PSD, running on 100% biodiesel from www.biofuels.coop This is me, and the truck as follows. Also have a 1977 f-150 ranger with the 460ci engine Anywho, this is my introduction, and I promise, I'm no Supertrucker!

Welcome. I lived for a summer in Carrboro, worked in Durham. How's the construction industry doing there?
