Just interested to know what you guys think is an average day, myself I am an owner driver paid solely on loads so any less than 5 a day I am banging the sales reps door. I supose my average week is about 30/35 loads depending on distance from plant, most work is within about 6 miles but I will do about 5 a week in the double figures. We get more the furthar out we go. Fuel is our biggest cost with about a quarter the money going back in the tank. In the UK diesel is about the equivelent to $10 a gallon. Shocking!!

We generally do about 4-5 loads a day. Saturdays (half-day) maybe 2-3 loads.

For me 3-4, my record is 6. But I tend to drive about 150 miles a day. I thought I was going to break it the other day, I did 4 loads within 4 hours, but on my fifth load I was sent about an hour north and the job was not ready when I got there so it slowed my load speed, Oh well What can ya do! Diesel is about $3.58 here in NH. I can't even fathom $10...

I think my record is 7, but they were all 15-20 miles away. If it were right out back, like we've been doing recently, I could probably do better, given a busy day.
Usually, 4 is about my average. But what's an average day in redi-mix? Doesn't exist.

I guess we probably do about 4 to 5 average a day , 2 -3 on sat mornings, a lot depends on whether the batcher sends you to pumps or slow wheelbarrow jobs!!! I used to be in a mini mix truck for 3 years and we have 4 of these at our plant and these minis ( 2.5 mts max) dont stop all day ,every day!!!!
cheers from oz

I did 8 loads today in 10 hours. All sidewalks, curb, and wheelbarrow jobs. This past Saturday I did 7 in 8 hours. All small stuff. We're playing catch up after the strike.

My record is now 9, mostly 10" slump CDF right out back to a *ahem* Major Aerospace Manufacturer. Then I'm dog tired, doing 8 loads out there, on auto pilot, and I get a cleanup to somewhere completely different. I was dragging by then.
Average, well, it was about 3-4 a day before this economy started up. Now I'm about 1-3.

I average 6-7 loads in a 10 hour shift, we stay close to our home plant. the most loads in one day were 13 in 15 hours, 130 yds. It was a bridge deck just 100 yds from the plant. No wash downs just go back and re-load. what a busy day
