Our plant loads clean. However I notice on a one or two yard load a lot stays at the back, stuck to the fins. How about you guys?

Depends how busy we are. On a busy he has cement flying everywhere. Our plant can load clean if they let it. On a one yard order, he has to bump it some if they really need a yard. I hate to get a short load on the last run of the day, it takes forever to wash it out. It's best if you can get a decent sized load after the short load so what's left can get scoured out.

What's really nice is if you get a load of 3/4 inch gravel to deliver at the end of the day.

We seldom deliver dry marerial with mixers but if we do have some mud hung in the fins at the end of the day they'll load a ton or so of aggregate and let us dump it on a separate pile. It usually cleans em out.

at our plant we do a alot of collect loads, as we dont have a pan mixer we have to mix half or one meter in the truck and then drop it in the builders truck or farm trailer. our batcher tends to batch it dry so we can dose it up with our wash down hose to get the slump ok and this helps to get it off the back blades and then hopefully a nice wet one to follow (at the moment that dosnt allways happen)

We had a wet batch mixer plant sure is nice to load out of a plant with it. Fins stay clean and truck dose to. They don't use plant no more they say it costs to much to run. They say it costs 80,000 dollars a year to run for electriciy so now we run a dry mix plant. Dust and fins caked with cement. Just like the flintstones.
