520 yrds went out Monday to our new elementary. The rest is residential work, D.O.T has been hanging out at our office so some of us drivers have our timecards hidden . Had 15 hours Monday, I think this winter is gonna be a rough one.

We've been picking up slowly. Weather was supposed to be bad this week, so contractors got nervous, but we had a few busy days (relatively speaking, of course). I'm a bit nervous for winter, but in this QC gig, I can at least find SOMETHING to do.

One of our guys with 9 years seniority got his first 5 day week in almost a year. That's bad. Our top guys have been with us 30-35 years, and they've never seen it this bad.
