I hear ya, Dog. Well said. Just read in the paper today that NJ is going to amend the DWI law so first time offenders will not only lose their licenses for six months (12 months for CDL drivers) they'll also spend six months behind bars. In NJ, a CDL driver is considered drunk after 2 beers.

BAC laws out here in California:
It is illegal for any person to operate:
* A motor vehicle with a BAC of 0.08% or higher. * Any vehicle requiring a commercial driver license (with or without a CDL issued to the driver), with a BAC of 0.04% or higher.
First time offenders who have a CDL receive a 1 year suspension of their license. Not to mention they'll lose their job, and be pretty much blacklisted in the trucking world.
I'm sure other states are just as tough on CDL drivers.
Have an awesome holiday weekend, and STAY SAFE, men.

I think our CDL law is .02, or zero tolerance, depending on who you ask. Our company is zero tolerance.
