Same here. The ones we see have what looks like weed whacker engines attached.

You can tell a quality outfit here when they have an actual metal screed instead of a 2x4 that looks straightish. Some guys doing paving have gas powered rollers to compact it, but that's about it.

they use the power screeds with weedeater motors here aswell.. also use laser screeds alot..
