Well, I'm still on my first redimix employer, so I'm sure the statute of limitations still applies...

I agree, Mort. Wouldn't want to blow up my spot. Besides, there are two other drivers in my company that post here, and you know how word gets around the plants. I will admit to a small but funny thing. When I was in training, my hard hat fell off my head while I was on the ladder and landed in the pit. I looked around to see if anybody saw it. The coast was clear, so there I was digging around in the leftovers and pump wash looking for my noggin saver. That's as far as I'll go here. I'm still in my first year.

Back in the 80's I was making a Saturday morning delivery. I was scheduled to leave on vacation that afternoon so I was in a hurry to get my a$$ punched out and on the road. When I got loaded I told the batcher that I thought I had maybe a quarter of a yard on (right....probably a YARD and a quarter!) I was driving a Ford with an 8 yard barrel and carrying (of course) 8 yards. I was halfway to the job when I saw that I was not only leaking....I was spilling concrete BIG time. So, I pulled off the road into a side street where I saw a "vacant" lot. Actually, it was owned by the factory next door. But, the factory was closed on the weekend and I proceeded to dump maybe a yard. No one seemed to notice and the concrete sat there in its hardened state for many years. I always got a laugh whenever I went by and saw it there. Ooops....my bad.

I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that it may incriminate me. If they only knew, I'd be flipping burgers.
