Well the topic says it all.. I hosed myself good today.. Right in the junk.. Was washing down the top of the truck after a job and used the nozzle on the hose to knock a little concrete off my hopper and I let go of the handle and it kept spraying and fell out of my hand and sprayed my shirt and my crotch lol.. good thing it was hot water..

The best is when you thought no one saw it happened then you turn around and usually the pumper is standing there laughing

I was all alone this time lol.. I love it when the laborers or pump operators grab my hose and spray themselves in the face

This just happened the other day... I backed the redi-mix truck to my pump - the guy hops out and charges his water tank. Thet's when my shower began. The hose nozzle up on the top of the truck was pinched between the tag axle and the top of the ladder---in the on position. Man, was I glad he had hot water...We both had a pretty good chuckle. Another time... I was washing my pump and dropped the hose to close the transition back up and when the hose hit the ground....dayuum!! I got the shot of water right up the underside and front of me. I'm sure some of you know what a Putzmeister water pump can do. Luckily, when this happens, usually no one's around.

If this doesn't happen to you at least once a month you're doing something wrong. ;D

I can't go a single day without getting dirty, soaked or both. I hate it when your hose picks up grease from somewhere and you don't notice until it's all over your clothes.

How many of guys here get themselves real good, then casually look around to see if anyone saw it happen?

How many of guys here get themselves real good, then casually look around to see if anyone saw it happen? Absolutely.....and there usually is an audience there to appreciate it.

If i spray myself in front of a fellow driver and they laugh I usually spray them too lol and laugh at them..we had two guys get into a water fight while washing up one day.. well after it "stopped" one driver ran over to the other guys truck while he was washing the drum and up on the platform, well our trucks have the safety hoops that open when the ladder is open and close when the ladder is up, so the driver went and closed the other guys ladder and trapped him up there and soaked him from head to toe.. it was hilarious and the guy that got soaked takes some "anxiety" pills and had one in his pocket and it disolved in his pocket lol

The water nozzle, water valves, door handle. One time it started a fight so the boss put an end to it.

Had one of the drivers leave his hose on the back of the truck in cold weather 19F and when he got to the next job it was frozen so he took the hose off and started pouring well about halfway thru the pour it melted and soaked the finishers. I nearly lost it I was laughing so hard. The chute man was just standing in the spay screaming for the driver to shut it off, instead of moving out of the spray. One of those know it all finishers.

What gets me is when guys go to hang my hose back up on the mirror and end up spraying me right in the face. I've learned to lean forward, but sometimes they catch me off guard.
