You know I have seen many things and very scary customers over the years but this takes the cake. I was pouring curb on new years eve and the customer comes up to me and says I drove over their portable generator. Well be wary new rollers, I was no where near where it was ran over and I told them that but they insisted I did it. Long story short it was a dent in the gas tank and they just wanted a new generator. When I was new finishers used to put their hand floats under the wheels when you weren't looking then scream that you ran over it, Walla, new float. I waited and watched this customer and finally I saw a finisher put his float under the tires. I stopped the drum set the brakes walked over to the wheels grabbed the float and threw it into the next field, and said don't you ever do that again, Im watching you. Times have changed but some customers want something for nothing. Lesson, never trust a customer that you don't know. Ticked me off and they never did it to me again, but they did do it to another driver. The company refused to sell to these yahoo's, again :)amen.

BUT WHEN HE PULLED OUT, IT MAGICALLY APPEARED UNDER HIS RIGHT STEER TIRE HE WAS 3" TO THE INSIDE OF HIS ORIGINAL TIRE TRACKS....TELL ME THAT AIN'T A MYSTERY ! ANYWAYS $1600 LATER THE CONTRACTOR WAS A HAPPY CAMPER....THOSE GREEZY BASTARDS WOULD TURN IN THEIR OWN MOTHERS FOR FREE CHEWING GUM!

I did buy the generator, funny how the one they said was damaged was a cheap Mitsubishi, and the one they brought into the plant (in parts) was a Honda, Frigging customers, lying cheating you know the rest. BS

thats why I love camera phones.. I've taken pics of driveways and stuff before I drove on them because they were already messed up just for that reason..

We're given a disposable camera just for this purpose. I carry an older junky digital camera with me always. The zoom no longer works, and it looks like crap. I can't count on my hands how many times it's saved me. For instance. There was a telephone service drop that was loose on the house and I had to back under it and the contractor held it up for me to backunder. we forgot about holding it up again when i pulled out, and it rode up the hopper and when it went "twang" and bounced, the plastic insulator holding it to the house came out. I immediately grabbed my camera, and took two pics Customer didn't see me take them. Called dispatch and let them know what happened. I had had a release form signed. Anyway, well a couple hours go by and my super. asks me to come up to his office. Turns out the customer decided they wanted a new service drop too and they pulled the electric service panel off the wall and made it look like I pulled it down too. I showed the pictures, and walla customer didn't even get compensation for the phone line. I mean come on, right? a $2 plastic insulator is all that ripped out.
