It never fails, go on will call for weeks on end and I sit here dying for work. But let one day come up when I have something important to do and they call me in. Not to mention it trashes my un-employment check.
I'll be tickled pink when when the economy gets better and we have plenty of work again. So when they have a busy day and need me I can say "Don't think I'll be in today".
Paybacks are a b**ch.

Isn't that just how it happens? At least we get the underemployment checks. If I didn't have that, it would've been a very Scroogy Christmas.

Why don't they ever just lay us off and leave us alone to hibernate? I would be happy to let less senior drivers play in the snow while I curl up to momma and watch The Price is Right.

Man I just went back today after 17 days off lol.. talk about struggling..I havent worked since the 12th.. Was off that weekend, and then off all that week and weekend, then took vacation the week of christmas and went back today..

I feel you totally..as much as I wanted to go back to work part of me wanted to lounge around at home and collect unemplyment, but low and behold BACK TO WORK. Felt a litle odd but good too
