Never seen one. Do they look like ice cream trucks?

I think the "good tip truck" thing is BS. There aren't that many tippers out there anymore. The guys who drive these Tonka toys aren't going to be getting the OT like the rest of us. Here's a picture of one:

i poured 4 yards for a sidewalk the other day for a do it yourselfer.. i basically did everything except pay for the load myself and all I got was a thanks.. the guy didnt know anything about concrete..he was trying to drag 3" slump concrete by himself.. I wet it up to about a 6 put a nice pile out there.. raked it out then drug it off for him and showed him how to do it.. so we got the sidewalk poured out and drug off and i started to wash up and hes like thats it?? and i said now you gotta finish it.. and he didnt know what to do so i called the plant and had a guy bring out the edger, bullfloat and groover.. I ended up doing basically the whole thing didnt get anything..there arent any tippers out there..

Besides most people dont appreciate anything. I got a 50$dollar tip a few weeks ago b/c I brought out 1/2 yd more than what I should have. I wasnt expecting it, but the guy was very appreciative for the job we do. Ge tipped me and the pumper. I try not to get involved at all simply b/c people are just a$$holes most the time and dont appreciate help you give them. I never expect to be tipped its rare for me.

I get an occasional tip here and there, but it isn't like it used to be. I used to make anywhere from $50 - $200 a week. Some rare weeks I'd get almost nothing but now "nothing" is what I get most of the time. Times have changed and money is tight these days.

The only time I see a tip is on a COD, and that's usually a few cents more than the total bill. Reminds me of the days when I was a pizza delivery boy. Screw all that.

The only tips I get from contractors are "slow it down!" "you need to tell the batch man to wet it up" and the ever popular, "that won't tip it over."

I helped a COD one sat, he ordered 10 yds for curb, No help but I thought he knew what he was doing so all ten was on the ground before he went back to work on it. Needless to say he freaked, I called disp. they said it was ok to help, 3 hours later we finished and he gave me $300.00 for helping him or else he would have lost the job. ;D (10 yds is short when you have sliders holding 15.
