Hello to everybody using this site!!. I am new to the world of forums and I can't believe I found one dedicated to mixer drivers!.
As you can tell from the title I am a mixer driver in the uk, and as I understand that this is a primarily american site, I do find it quite funny that you guys suffer the same problems as we do in England. for example, i found the thread "how much have you got left driver?" very funny, as that is one of the single most annoying questions to ask!!!
I also get annoyed by customers, who, just because you can get your pickup in that site/gap/street/farm, that I can get my truck in there!
I also liked the thread on "if mixer drivers ruled the world....." The best reply was "all jobs would be pumped from the street".....I whole heartedly agree!!!!
Nice to meet people who have to deal with annoying customers!!

Hi C-Man.....That thread about "How much ya got left driver?" was the first one that caught my eye, too. I had to laugh when I read it. I never understood why they ask the question. Even when they have 100 yards ordered and I'm the first 10 yards being delivered they'll ask how much is left. What difference does it make? You're taking it all anyway and there's 90 more on the way. Shut up and keep shoveling.
