our company clearly tells us that it doesnt matter if the spotter backed u into it. its the drivers fault. if your not sure, pull the brake and get out and look for yourself. too many spotters suddenly speak no english when the questions fly about who signaled what. cant trust anybody. besides they are always looking at what u can see anyway and not watching where u really need them to watch.

I agree lafargeslave, and like CMT posted, don't trust the guy backing you up unless you know him, and know that he's looking for the right things. In the end, it's the driver's responsibility. In this case, however, there were many witnesses. The kids backing us up to the pumps really didn't know what they were doing.
