Gant I have to admit I love street pours anytime I can get out there and get in the way I love it. We are in the middle of one now not real big but good for a few yards everyday.

you kinda feel important you know.. "they closed off that entire lane of traffic and it is backed up for miles just so I can drive past them all on the shoulder and deliver concrete to it"

That is kinda nice, isn't it? I just wish people would realize that you can't haul azz through construction zones. Maybe we should all get some scooters and rip up and down the halls at their office building. I bet they'd change their tunes really quickly after that.

Once your out there fixing them and lanes are closed traffic is backed up they even get more angry so I laught and <^> and ask "bad traffic huh?" keep on pouring fellas!

I got rented to one of our other plants for 4 loads yesterday for a street pour.. we have a central dispatch system and evertime this same plant gets over 200 yards they get sent 15 trucks to take care of it and they have 12 of their own already.. they sent 7 of our trucks to different plants yesterday to "haul one load and come back" is what they told our batchman so we could go..well the batchman had 6 jobs going on and only 4 trucks.. talk about pissed..

^^^ Our company does that a lot, Mudder. I see trucks from 16 and 18 at our plant, and they sit there waiting to load in front of us when we don't have enough to go around. Sucks.
