Ok, time for the obligatory "What do you like to eat when your haulin' mud" Thread.
MY Favs are: Hot Dogs, Polish Sausages, Jersey Mike's, Pizza, and Reuben Sandwiches.
My Healthy.. Foods. Subway, Bananas, Oranges, Grapes, and peaches. god... i love peaches...
Drinks? Cheerwine, Mexican Coca Cola (cane sugar) IBC root beer Crush Orange, Sweet Tea, coffee when it's cold, and h2o
Driver's Room Food? Ramen Noodles, Chinese Fried Chicken Wings, Sweetn Sour Chicken, and other chinese goods. Mexican is also good.

dont eat when I drive.. we usually have enough down time i can eat at the plant or I stop on the way back at a little deli and get something and eat when i get back.. I'm not into sweating, shifting and trying to eat..

I usually have a bag of cashews to munch on. Not too easy to eat anything else. I have a cooler with bottled water and Gatorade in it. Driver's room? What's that?

MORNING BREAKFAST CONSISTS OF, 1 PKG. DOLLY MADISON'S ZINGERS (chocolate of course).
1 PKG OF HOSTESS POWDERED DONETTS
1 16oz BOTTLE OF TROPICANA O.J. (with pulp)  .
LUNCH IS 2 CHEDDAR STUFFED SMOKIES, 1 SUNKIST NAVEL ORANGE (cold) AND SWEET ICED TEA FROM HOME .
AFTERNOON SNACK IS A PINT OF CHERRY GARCIA ICE CREAM .
AND YES...I AM A CREATURE OF HABIT ;D

I just throw in a bunch of little stuff. That way, while the dudes are catching up, I'll just chow down on some Doritos or a peanut butter bar. I'm sure it ticks them off, but a guy's gotta eat.

I try and stop at any fast food joint that is located in a big enough lot to park my truck. I once went into a lot to run to an AM/PM. Once I was in there, I realized that there was NO WHERE to park. So, I said, "Eff it", and set my brake. Came out 15 minutes later to find my truck boxed in. Crap!

I used to work with a guy who was like that, except for Pepsi. And except for the showers part, but that's another rant.
He was out digging a ditch one day in 90 degree plus weather (hot for western Washington), sweating his azz off, beat red. He comes in and has a huge swig of Pepsi. I told him, "Patrick, you need to drink water. Caffeine is a diuretic, its actually taking water away from your system." Boy, he didn't want to hear that from a stupid kid, since he was over 40 (and washing cars for $9 an hour) and knew everything.
Wouldn't you know it? The next day he called in sick, with symptoms that sounded like dehydration. Funny thing about that.

we're not supposed to stop anywhere in our trucks.. but as long as its on the way back and quick they dont say anything.. we've got 2 drivers that work for us and are related to eachother and both of them eat white castle for breakfast almost everymorning before work.. i can barely eat that SHlT for lunch let alone breakfast
