Hey I've poured for both those crews but I thought they were local, I guess they got a branch office in every state.

One of them, I hear, is in a few states. A second one too, but I hear they got bought out. A third one was just in a joint venture on a freeway project, I saw an office for them in California And a fourth one is doing a big project, I hear they were part of the Big Dig in Boston.

I think you guys have created a salesman’s wet dream here. Put this info together with the price per yard thread, and you have already said too much. I have had to delete the profile of members who were reprimanded and or fired for the info they shared on this site. Tread lightly drivers.

we are well known as the highest priced concrete in the area. We only win bids due to prefered contractor relationships and the fact that we ussually dont drop service on the big pours.

I have had to delete the profile of members who were reprimanded and or fired for the info they shared on this site. Tread lightly drivers. Corporate espionage run rampant! Let's start a mix design thread too. Why not cover all the bases? Seriously, Matt's right. We need to be real careful about what type of info we divulge to each other. We may see it as harmless, but our companies may see it differently. Even posting pictures of their mixers may have complications. I believe it would be better if we all stayed anonymous.

Oh good, I didn't post on the price per yard thread.
And I'm not really worried about what I posted on this one, since anybody could drive by one of the huge projects that those companies are doing and see our trucks. Besides, its in the newspaper that we're a supplier anyway.

Of course, but when you've been fired from one job in the past due to a picture that was taken and posted on the internet, you tend to tread a little lighter than otherwise normal. I got permission to take pictures on a one time deal thing, of my mixer, which is why I only have pictures of the truck/s either far off, or way out by itself on a job site. you'll also notice I've dropped the company logo from my avatar......

Yeah, I guess I'm one to be paranoid too, especially with all the doom and gloom about the economy and such. No fuel for a potential fire.

My avatar is a pic of my truck I took with my cell phone, but the company logo on the doors of the cab can't be seen. I dunno that my company would have a problem with it anyway. *shrug*
I can see what Matt is saying about divulging to much info about contracts and such, though.
