this thread is for anyone that works for IMI and would like talk about where you work, your like and dislike about your job. my name is wayne, i work for IMI in the Evansville,Indiana area. i worked here for over 2 years and like my job for the most part. we have a 2000 yard pour coming up next friday at midnite. those are always lots of fun. lol ! ;D so sound off IMI drivers ! we are not mixer drivers. we are.... So is that a pretty big place then?
How many trucks/plants on that 2000 yard pour?
And the next time I'm asked what I do, that's what I'm going to tell them. "I'm a CDP." Better than concrete double-u h oh are ee, like I say now.

^^^ when we have pours that large we usually run 2-3 plants.. and about 35 trucks

we are not mixer drivers. we are.... Concrete Delivery Pro's Don't know about you, but I'm a: Concrete Placement Specialist (at least that's what it says on the business cards they give us to hand out) Hey, fellow Hoosier. I'm down in Clarksville. Not far from one of your many plants.

would be nice...we just did 1050 yards out of a portable with only 8 trucks. 5 from the city and 3 locals. 17 loads in 12 hours. had one apartment complex near the plant. we would do 200 yards with 3 trucks at night. good for pay per load but sure knocks u out.
