I run two trucks one is a 95 paystar with a conveyor. the other is a good old 84 mack. The oldest at my plant is a 78 mack.

1994 Advance, 11yds, 5 axle tag & pusher
There's some 1984 Macks left over they use when we're real busy.
And, theres the old Crane Carriers parked out back by the pit, seems one or two end up missing each year, rumor is the quarry crew drowns a few in the flooded pit each year.........Hmmmmmm

I'm not even close.....I drive a 2000 Mack with a McNeilus 10 yard barrel. I think our oldest truck is from the late 80's. It's used a spare.

I guess we are spoiled oldest are a couple of 99 Internationals used for spares and pump drivers when we trick them into driving mixers, but most of our fleet are 05 international, 06 Peterbuilt, and we just took delivery on 10 new 08 Peterbuilt. I think we must be in a boom down here, We just opened a new plant, built from the ground up, bought the 10 new trucks and 2 new boom pumps. I wish they would give me a raise

I've got a 1991 Autocar with all hand controls. But its a month or a breakdown away from the scrap yard. We're allegedly getting a bunch of newer Peterbuilts and Kenworths, but until I see it...

Ours are fully loaded and a dream to drive. Compared to what I've read some of the oldtimer have driven.  |

Was running a 95' IH paystar5000 with L10Cummins. But, I just got as of last week, a 1999 Mack R with the 375horse v-mac engine with full electronic control and adjustable low idle -i set it at 750rpm-
1028 Transmission 8 speed with deep reduction low side (you stay on the high side when on the road) so it's technically only a 5 speed.
(Second fastest to the Mack 425hp Allison Autos, those things will MOVE)

I was talking to our #1 driver on a job once, and somehow the subject came up, and he asked me how old I was.
I'm 26, I told him.
"So I've been working here since before you were born?"
I'm sure that made his day.
